Growing up, Yakov Faytlin was used to seeing his father with a camera attached to his face. Yakov’s father, a photographer, was always snapping away at something, and he took the time to show his son the ropes. Photography soon became a passion for Yakov as well, and today he boasts more than 25 years of experience capturing weddings, in-studio portraits, and more. Now at the helm of his own business, Yakov photographs families, engaged couples, and children in his studio or outside at his clients' location of choice. He sometimes uses props in his portraits, such as violins for the musically inclined, teddy bears for young children, and twigs for the outdoorsy types.
