Hannah, manager of Yasha Ramen, describes her restaurant as a mix of modern and traditional. The menu features traditional Japanese ramen dishes, rich with flavor and ingredients such as soft-boiled eggs, kigurage mushrooms, seaweed, and spiced meats. The same traditional sensibilities extend to the decor, a collection of Japanese masks that bedeck the walls. The architecture features original tin ceilings, hardwood floors, and exposed brick walls. The open kitchen is the eatery's most modern touch. There customers sit on stools, sidling up right next to the chefs, watching the drama unfold as their order is prepared and the cooks are forced to sacrifice their pet mushrooms.
