Q:

I have about 10 sleeves (38 slide each) of slides that work in a slide projector. If I send them to you in the sleeves will that work and will they be scanned in the same order and put back in the sleeves as you received them? Also I would assume that the Seize The Deal would apply to the first 122 slides and the rest be charged at full rate, correct.

A:

Yes, you can order their EasyShip Kit online and the cost will be deducted from your order. Then when their customer service rep gives you a call with an exact price quote for your transfer order, the remaining balance will be deducted from your Groupon.

Q:

We have about 20 8mm video or High 8 video tapes. How do you charge- by the 8mm? by the DVD? by the hour? We would be satisfied if as many multiple tapes as possible are put on a single DVD. Also, we are a bit nervous about sending you our precious memories. How long will you have them.

Bonnie E.  asked on  Dec 30, 2012

A:

Hi Bonnie, thanks for the question! Our pricing is $19.99 per video tape, up to two hours. We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. The 2 hour limit is listed in the event that you have a tape longer than two hours. Since the DVDs can hold up to 2 hours, any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made and a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created.

Q:

how many feet of film are on a 5" diameter reel of super 8 film and how many 5" reels can be converted with this groupon?

Dan O.  asked on  Dec 30, 2012

A:

Hi Dan, great question! A full 5" reel holds approximately 200 feet. Our film transfer pricing is $0.18 per foot , which means the $60 value of this Groupon cover up to 333 feet. Since a 5" reel holds 200 feet, the Groupon would cover one full 5" reel and an additional 133 feet on a secondary reel. To calculate what you can get out of the Groupon with the media that you have, you can visit our page here and tell us what you have; it will automatically give you a quote depending on the quantity you enter!
