Q:

I have large reels of 8mm film. would each one be $19.99?? I also have the smaller ones, you said you cannot combine tapes, so I am confused!! Would hhe smaller ones be $19.99 too!!

Mildred C.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

Hi Mildred, Thanks for the question. Groupon doesn't explain how our pricing works on the offer unfortunately. You really need to go to our site to see it at http://www.yesvideo.com. But as a quick snap shot, Film reels are charge at 18 cents per foot, videotapes at $19.99 per videotape to DVD, and images (photos, slides) at 49 cents per image. When you place your order you can use our order entry calculator which will tell you what you costs are before submitting your order. Your Groupon will code will be used to substract a total of $60.00 in value even though you only paid $19.00. You can find more answers to questions here: http://www.yesvideo.com/groupon

Q:

Can 3 VHS tapes be put on 1 DVD? Very limited amount of film used.

Virginia S.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Hi Virginia. We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. Any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made, with a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created. Q:

Will you copy a "YES" produced DVD that I had you make previously??

Gay Y.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Thanks for the question, Gay! Definitely! If your video is no longer available to order online on our cloud service, we would need the DVD to be returned to our facility for duplication. The pricing for this is $19.99 per DVD submitted and $8.99 per any additional DVD copies of the same DVD. Q:

I have 8 mm reels, is there any way to edit them? There are a lot of things that I would like to edit out!!!

Mildred C.  asked on  Feb 5, 2013

A:

Video tape transfers are straight transfers and no custom edits are made; this means that all the footage on your video tape will be transferred to your DVD. However, your film transfer order will include access to their MemoryShare website which will allow you to view, share, edit and order additional copies of your videos. While you won't be able to edit the footage prior to receiving a DVD, you can always use their online editing tool to create an additional customized DVD for $8.99 plus shipping. Alternatively, since the files on the DVD are not restricted, you may always utilize the video files on your disc and use editing software on your computer.
