Q:

I have 20-25 home videos (small tapes) that I would like to have made into DVDs. Will this Groupon cover any/all of those?

Mary B.  asked on  Feb 11, 2013

A:

Thanks for the question, Mary. Our pricing is $19.99 per video tape, up to two hours. We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. Any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made, with a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created. With the Groupon offer, you are receiving three transfers for the price of one! Q:

We are considering doing a family history DVD with lots of pictures from slides, and photos and a few negatives. Can you add titles to the pics? Can we order extra copies of the dvd and if so how much would they cost? We would probably need about 20.

Nancy J. W.  asked on  Feb 11, 2013

A:

Thank you for your questions, Nancy! With image transfers, we produce a data DVD with highest quality digital JPEG files (12 megapixels) to view and copy on your computer; the product is delivered without additional themes or audio. At this time, we do not offer a service to add titles to the pictures, but you can always save the images to your computer and edit them to your liking with editing software. It is also important to note that any notes on the picture will be kept. To learn more about our Groupon offer and read more of our frequently asked questions, you can also visit our website here.

Q:

I have 5 or 6 16 mm old films , ( I think there 16 mm or 8 mm) would that be one $19.00 deal or 5 or 6 deal's

LINDA S.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Hi Linda, thank you for the question. Our pricing for film is $0.18 per foot, this means that the $60's worth is dependent on the number of feet of film you have. To calculate what you can get out of the Groupon with what you have, you can visit our page here; it will automatically give you a quote depending what you enter! I hope this helps!

Q:

Could I buy 2 groupon deals and use them together for my tapes & shipping kit? Or if I order shipping kit ($19.95) and you deduct that from order, how many hours would I have to use?

Char F.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Hi Char, No, this deal is so good that we can only offer 1 per household. That said, you can purchase the EasyShip Kit with a portion of your $60 value groupon and use the remaining $40 for transfer services.

Q:

If I have several VHS tapes with only 30-40 minutes on each one, can I send them all in for one DVD? I guess I'm asking is it a TOTAL 3 hours no matter how many tapes I have? And if some are say-basketball; home videos, etc., will you divide them that way or can I do that?

Char F.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Hi Char, Thanks for your question. At this time we transfer one VHS tape to one DVD regardless of the length (below 2 hours). When we transfer them, we split them into easily digestible chapters using smart scene technology. Please remember, you'll also have access to all your videos online in your own free private account. You'll receive an email when the transfer is complete and the DVDs are shipped as well as when your free private online account is available for viewing and sharing your videos anytime. Feel free to check out our FAQ for Groupon at www.yesvideo.com/groupon.
