Q:

How di I get the slides in a set order?

donna n.  asked on  Feb 10, 2013

A:

Thanks for the question, Donna. We recommend numbering each slide individually or bundling the slides together in groups of 25-50 each and then placing a rubber band around them to secure them. You may also wrap the bundles in paper first and then rubber-band them in order to additionally protect the slides. From there, number each bundle and indicate which side of the bundle to start from. Q:

My father has some old film reels, (1950s -1960s) but I don't think they are 3" reels. (They might be 4 or 5 inches.) Do you do work with those and what does it cost to covert them? From my memory of watching them, I think they are each about 20 minutes long. Thanks for the response.

Helen  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Thanks for the question, Helen. Our pricing is determined by the amount of feet transferred, not per reel. Our pricing is $0.18 per foot. We are able to transfer both 4" and 5" reels. 4" reels generally hold 100 feet when full and would cost approximately $18 per reel. 5" reels generally hold 200 feet when full, which would be approximately $36.00 per 5" reel. Hello Keith, great question! The Groupon is $60 worth of our services. You can use part of the Groupon value toward the shipping costs if you would like. There are several ways to ship your order to us. You can: purchase an EasyShip Kit, a prepaid shipping label from our company, or use a self-shipping method. If you choose self-shipping, no additional charges would be added to your order and the cost of shipping would be determined by the courier service you wish to use. If you choose to purchase a prepaid shipping label from us, you can do so during checkout. The cost is a flat $9.99 and you will receive a UPS label to print out after your order is submitted. You may also ship your order through our EasyShip Kit. With the EasyShip Kit, all you do is place an order for the kit (priced at $19.99), pack up your materials in the box we provide and send to us via prepaid postage -- we do the rest. Shipping back to you is a flat $10.99. I hope this helps! To learn more about the Groupon offer and our transfer services, you can visit our website here.
