Great question, Jill! We can repair movie film if it is received with some breaks. However, loose film can not be submitted and must be on a reel. On rare occasions, movie film is may be too brittle to transfer and must be returned unprocessed. You also want to keep in mind that your film will be spliced and combined onto new 400 ft. reels. Your empty reels will be returned, along with the new 400 ft. reels containing your original footage. If you are referring to editing footage, at this time, we do not provide a service to edit the footage before it is transferred to a DVD. However, I would like to take this time to let you know that your film transfer order will include access to our MemoryShare website which will allow you to view, share, edit and order additional copies of your videos online. While you won't be able to edit the footage prior to receiving a DVD, you can always use our online editing tool to create an additional customized DVD for $8.99 plus shipping.
The deal is for you to spend the $60 any way you wish for our supported media types. Since you pay a la carte for your order, you can have combinations of the supported media types as well (different media types will go on different DVDs, but they can be placed in the same order). To calculate what you can get out of the Groupon with the media that you have, you can visit our page here and tell us what you have; it will automatically give you a quote depending on the quantity you enter! You can also view our pricing list on that page. I hope this helps!
