Q:

I'm not clear about what your offer is. If I have purchased 3 transfers in this deal, does that mean that one could be film and the others could be two vcr tapes?

Shirley N.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

Hi Shirley, the deal is $60 of transfer services for $19.00. So this means you can spend that $60 credit on YesVideo any way you'd like. To see what your costs would be for film reels, videotapes or images, simply go to our order form and input what you have. Our calculator will tell you what the total cost is before you ever complete or pay for the order. You can see our price list and read popular questions that should explain the entire process here: http://www.yesvideo.com/groupon. Cheers!

Q:

I purchased this deal for myself. The tape I'm sending is very old. If you can't convert it, will I be able to send a different tape? If I know the tape I'm sending isn't very long, may I send another item to be copied with it onto the DVD you're making?

Shirley N.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

A:

Hi Shirley, thanks for the question. Of course! If we are unable to process your tape, we will definitely honor the deal when submitting a replacement! In regards to combining tapes, we do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. Any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made, with a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created. With the Groupon offer, you are receiving three transfers for the price of one! Q:

do you do photo restoration? what about cassets to cd's?

Dick S.  asked on  Feb 5, 2013

A:

Hi Dick, thank you so much for your interest in our Groupon deal. Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer audio only formats or conduct photo restoration. Although we cannot restore photos, each image is transferred at 12 megapixel resolution-- one of the highest in the industry in quality. For every image that we process we manually clean up the images as opposed to running them through a software program. This clean-up includes: rotation to the correct orientation, cropping of borders to the correct size, color correction which means white balance correction, fixing faded colors & tints, red-eye removal, and dust & scratch removal. We do also have many accepted formats you may be interested in, including various types of video tapes, film reels, images (slides, negatives, prints), and digital media (USB sticks, memory cards). To learn more about our service and great Groupon deal, you can also visit our website here.
