More Questions and Answers

Q:

If I decided to continue the membership, how much would it be monthly for myself and my husband? Also, would I have to pay a joining fee if I continued my membership after the groupon? Thanks

A:

Hey Kim! The Groupon covers the full cost of the experience, excluding any applicable taxes, as Groupons do not include the sales tax, unless otherwise stated in a deal's Fine Print.

Q:

I am a single mom with one child, 12 years old. What would it be for me to join after the 30 days? And please include the single rate as well with how many times I could bring my daughter as a guest too. Does this include the Henderson County YMCA?

Melinda M.  asked on  Nov 27, 2012

A:

We have 2 different options for joining. You can join with a 12 month agreement and only pay $49 per month for an adult or $69 per month for a family. You can join month-to-month and would pay a joining fee of $99 or $139 based on the membership type and then $59 per month or $79 for a family. The 12 month agreement is a great way to join! You receive 6 free guest passes to use per year and the Hendersonville Family YMCA is included.

Q:

What is included in the 'well-being' agreement? How much are the coaching sessions? Do the YMCAs in this area offer sliding scale rates based on income?

Kim M.  asked on  Nov 28, 2012

A:

The YMCA does offer Financial Assistance. You just need to prove household income with your W-2 or paycheck stubs. The well-being agreement includes all 5 facilities, all group exercise classes and our coaching sessions are included, too. You are just agreeing to commit for at least 12 months.
