What You'll Get
Flexible yoga masters typically earn extra cash in their spare time by cleaning out overhead air ducts and working as professional pretzel impersonators. Expand your occupational opportunities with today's Groupon: for $27, you get three yoga classes at Yoga Bent (a $54 value). This deal is valid at both the Highland Park and Chicago locations. Classes at the Chicago location are held once a week on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. All other scheduled classes are held in Highland Park.
At Yoga Bent, Miguel Latronica and his staff of qualified instructors shepherd students through the relaxing and stretchy mysteries of yoga. A bevy of helpful classes led by dedicated teachers hone and tone bodies by increasing flexibility, building strength, and picking unwanted stress deposits from deep inside dangerous tension mines to renew both muscle and mind. Equipped with an obliging loaner mat from the welcoming studio, yogis-in-training focus on the power of breath and balance with a Hatha yoga course, or master the calming passive poses of Yin yoga. A serious student of the yogic arts, Miguel Latronica devised the Mighty Body Band used in the Mighty Body Band classes, loosening and fortifying joints and tissues with muscle shaping, sinew-strengthening postures including the child, tree, and protein-shake deluxe.

About Yoga Bent
Inside West Loop Health & Sports Performance Center, Yoga Bent's registered yoga instructors—Miguel Latronica and Etty Hasak—guide their students through innovative classes that incorporate Miguel’s patented Mighty Body Body Band stretching and strengthening device. The Latronica Method is largely based on the PNF principles. It employs his inventive system of ropes, bungee cords, and slings to support and stabilize students as they work though seven forms of flexibility- and strength-building exercises. The classes enable students to borrow props and sink into or build stability. Additionally, all MBB yoga poses are designed to increase one’s range of motion by loosening connective tissues that, like the budgets of toddlers, are difficult to stretch.
