Yoga is unique in that it is the only medieval physical fitness art that does not involve firing crossbows at a grendel. Bend and stretch sans bloodshed with today's deal: for $45, you get 10 classes at YogaHop, which has studios in Pasadena and Santa Monica.
In a pair of rooms nicknamed East Coast and West Side, YogaHop mixes yoga's flows with upbeat music to create an inspiring, high-energy workout that's attracted the attention of celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon. Twist and turn your way to fitness with a 10-pack of YogaHop's classes, which are taught by enthusiastic instructors that can accommodate yogis at any stage in their quest for self-pretzelization. Duck into one of the studios for a yoga-style jam session as speakers blast out rock, hip-hop, or pop, which have proven to be far more effective for toning bodies than atonal jazz or freeform bagpiping.

YogaHop has received a lot of attention from the press with mentions in Parade magazine and E! Online. Yelpers give the Santa Monica location a five-star average.
- The music kept me engaged and energized, and the 60 minute class length was perfect for my schedule. There was no time wasted doing anything that wasn't considered physical – Julia b., Yelp
- This yoga will definitely tone you up - everywhere...arms, butt, stomach. But it's interesting and fun and you don't get bored or feel like it's the same thing each time you go. – Tracy R., Yelp

About YogaHop Pasadena
Upon entering YogaHop’s boldly colored confines and hearing vibrant pop and hip-hop tunes blasting from the classrooms’ speakers, exercisers know they’re not in a typical yoga studio. At both the Pasadena and Santa Monica locations, students immerse themselves in energetic classes that, like the Taj Mahal after hours, blend the ancient practice of yoga with pulse-pounding dance music that forms a workout InTouch magazine dubs “insane” and Maxim calls “inspiring” and “spiritual.” No matter the ability level, students find their stride thanks to patient and effervescent instructors who lead them through a continuous flow of poses, stopping only to gently correct a position or ask occasional student Reese Witherspoon for her autograph. Newly added "Pump" classes add weights and High Intensity Interval Training to the already energetic YogaHop class.
