It's a pleasant neighbor bar, it's nicely decorated with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the kale salad which was quite good and the Geeze Louise sandwich which was very small, but tasty and came with packaged chips. While our server was very friendly, the wait for the food was ridiculous. We waited over a hour for a homemade sandwich and salad, how crazy is that??!!

The atmosphere is romantic and the sandwiches are inventive. The beer menu is small but full of excellent brews! They have twists on classic cocktails, which cannot be missed!

What You'll Get

In Les Misérables II: Final Justice, Jean Valjean is arrested for committing an even greater crime against French law: applying margarine to another man’s moustache during dinner without asking. Feast around the proper tableside etiquette of France with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of crêpes, drinks, and more at Yorkville Crêperie, located on York Avenue between E. 83rd and E. 84th streets.

Yorkville Crêperie offers hunger-hindered visitors an opportunity to nosh on a lovingly wrapped meal that doesn’t transform into a burrito. As a neighborhood-centric eatery, this sun-drenched abode offers a spot where patrons can enjoy a relaxing coffee or drink while lounging in comfy chairs and couches, at tables, or at the bar. A wide range of sweet crêpes, savory crêpes, and mitt-fitting paninis is available to fill ravenous mouths and taunt mangy coyotes. Swaddle your sweet tooth in a fresh-squeezed lemon and sugar crêpe ($6), or try the U.E.S. crêpe, stuffed with brownie, Nutella, banana, ice cream, and whipped cream ($11). Heartier appetites can make a meaty midday repast out of the bonjour crêpe—filled with fried egg, swiss, or mozzarella, and finished with your choice of ham, turkey, or bacon ($8.50)—as well as the Mediterranean panini, layered with turkey, tomato, feta, and basil pesto ($7). Additionally, patrons will be able to kick back and relax thanks to a fully stocked bar slinging wines, cocktails, and motor-oil martinis for robots.

Things that seem impossible on an empty stomach, such as skydiving straight into space, convincing your boss to trade spouses, and turning a recurring dream into reality by going back to high school and passing that chemistry exam pantsless, slide into the realm of the certain once you've devoured a Yorkville Crêperie meal. Leap tall buildings using your arms as legs after pounding down a tasty crêpe. This Groupon is valid for dine-in only, so call ahead to schedule your reservation.

Reviews

Yelpers give Yorkville Crêperie a 3.5-star average rating, and Time Out New York has this to say:

  • Eating crepes stateside usually makes us long for the ones in Paris but we were pleasantly surprised by the treats at Yorkville Creperie on the Upper East Side. Kids will be wowed by the sweet selections, such as the “S’more”—chocolate, graham crackers crumbs and fluff—and the “PB&J”—creamy peanut butter with strawberry or grape jelly. Parents might be more inclined to go for the savory stuff: The “Roma” is filled with chicken and mozzarella cheese and topped with bruschetta. – Time Out New York
