Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

How long are you actually "flying" on the jet pack?

Emily G.  asked on  Sep 23, 2012

A:

We take our customers out on a boat which could be as many as 4 customers and take anywhere from 2 - 4 hours for the whole excursion. In that time each customer will take his or her turn on the machine. Prior to each flight we spend approx 10-15 minutes to explain and show you how to fly the machine. Once everything is fully understood we put you in the water while strapped into the machine and you fly on the machine for 30 minutes. Also while you are on the machine the instructor communicates to you through a headset which is built into the helmet you will be wearing and there also will be an assistant in the water on a jet ski to help assist you in any way.

Q:

If you get the hang of it are you allowed to operate your own throttle?

Danielle D.  asked on  Sep 25, 2012

A:

The instructor communicates to you through a headset while he controls the machines movements with a remote control from the boat. www.zainojet.com has some videos to give you a better idea.
