Zenana Spa and Wellness Center
Traditionally, parents go to the spa to take a break from their children. At Zenana Spa and Wellness Center, however, they come to connect—with their children and with each other. Here, parents meet parents, swap baby clothes, and get their bodies back after a pregnancy, while parents-to-be benefit from prenatal massage and yoga, birthing and parenting workshops, and a community of experienced moms who can explain the difference between a teddy bear and a grizzly bear. Resources span beyond education, too, with the onsite boutique stocking beauty and wellness products for mom and baby alike, including organic skincare, nontoxic nail polish, and nursing bras.
What strikes the first-time visitor most, though, is probably the presence of little ones. Parents can have their children in tow for certain spa treatments, including nail services, facials, and massage, as long as the child is sleeping and/or under the parent's full supervision. But when Mom just needs a break, Zenana is there too: waxing and body scrubs offer a pleasant, peaceful getaway.
