About Survival Scavenger Hunt
Survival Scavenger Hunt by Zombie Scavengers turns cities across Canada and the United States into hunting grounds of the undead. But instead of sending hoards of brain-hungry zombies into the streets, it thrusts players into the role of survivors, who must forage for shelter and supplies as part of their mobile scavenger hunt. The game is family friendly, no actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt.
Players simply show up at their starting location on the day and time of their reservation, smartphone in hand. With the GooseChase app downloaded onto their Apple or Android device, they take their cues from a guide who oversees their progress. Throughout the game, they work to secure food, supplies, and shelter all in a quest to obtain points. The task of becoming a survivor will be fraught with challenges and trivia questions. If completed correctly players are rewarded with points, aiding them as they try to avoid rival colonies of other survivors who want to steal their hard-earned resources. Players forming a larger group, can split up into teams to see who can find all the items first. To achieve the goal of a zombie apocalypse survivor one must find all of the items in one-hour.
With 1 hour and your team of up to 10 people, your mission will be using your smartphone to search the area for much needed food, supplies, and shelter. The more things you find in the 1 hour, the more points you get, the more likely you would be a survivor. Along the way, teams will be asked to do some challenges and answer some trivia questions. If you're playing with a larger group, you can split up into teams and see who can find all the items first. The goal is to score at least 4000 points in 1 hour in order to survive the zombie apocalypse.
