ZONE believes in practicing functional movements, that is, doing exercises that make everyday life easier. While sessions are held in groups, instructors tailor workouts to each person, giving it more of a personal-training feel. The high-intensity exercises are designed to keep students engaged so they don't get bored. Students can track their progress on the monitoring system that tracks data, and they can glance at one of the TV screens scattered about to see which "zone" their workout efforts have put them in.
