Q:

Hi! We have two dogs one 15 months and the other 6 months. We would like to bring both to the gym play. Can they both attend on one Groupon? Both are fully vaccinated and spayed.

Hi Amanda, You may bring both dogs to the evaluation with no additional charge. The private gym rentals in the deal include the first dog. You may bring up to 2 additional dog for $5 per dog, per 1/2-hr rental. We hope to see you soon!

Q:

I have two dogs and am interested in bringing both dogs to your facility for the agility course(s). Do I need to purchase a groupon for each dog? Can I do the private class with both of my dogs together, or do I need to bring them separately? Looking forward to bringing my dogs out there!!!! Thanks, Abby

Abby D.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

Hi Abby, We look forward to meeting your two dogs for agility! The deal is limited to one per household. You may bring up to 2 dogs to the evaluation. You could then split the 4 classes for the 2 dogs to start with (2 each), then purchase additional packages at that point. We do also offer private sessions for 2 dogs, but the deal only covers group training classes.

Q:

Hello, After looking at your website, I found the Calm Down training workshop. Would this be available with the deal? Also, would that be a complete training workshop? Are there classes available after 6:30/7 pm? Sorry for all the questions! Thank you, Jenna

jenna t.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

Hi Jenna, No need to apologize...the answers are probably relevant for other, too! - Our specialty workshops (including Calm Down) are not covered by this deal. The prerequisite for Calm Down (basic obedience) classes, however, are covered by the deal. The workshops are a complete curriculum and run for 6 consecutive weeks. The classes (covered by the deal) do not require consecutive weeks attendance. - The majority of our classes are offered evenings between 6:00-9:00 pm and weekends. Workshops are often held Saturday afternoons, less frequently evenings. If you have already done obedience training, and are interested in the workshop, call or email us with your contact information, we can notify you when the next Calm Down workshop is scheduled. Q:

When you sign up for the dog-training sessions, is there a required amount of sessions to attend or do you just registered whenever you can. I'm wondering if I purchase the 4 training sessions if that will get us through an entire course or will be need to purchase additional sessions?

Lisa J.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

Hi Lisa, thanks for your question! - You do not have to commit for 4 weeks in a row for classes. We do recommend once a week as a good frequency, but if you need to miss a week you can do so without losing the class. - How long you and your pup spend in a class depends greatly on the class, as well as you and the dog. Our classes are skill-level based, so once he/she can demonstrate the skills for Agility 1 or Obedience 1, for example, you can move on to the next level. In the evaluation (included with your deal), you can "test out" of obedience and straight into Agility, Tricks or Obedience 2. Most dogs will need 3-4 weeks in Agility 1 or Obedience 1 to learn the skills needed to move on. If you practice a lot, or he learns particularly fast, you may need less time, while some may also need more time. You can read more about how our classes work here: http://www.zoomroomonline.com/charlotte-dog-training.html#group, or we would be happy to answer addition questions over the phone (704) 900-6728. I hope to meet you soon! Julene

Q:

I want to purchase the Private Session. My Lab is very nervous & afraid of things. Can I learn how to work on these issues with her in this class. She is very good with basic obedience but gets very nervous when other people & dogs are around. Because of this, she has been attacked by other dogs which makes her more fearful. Can you help with my problem?

Barbara R.  asked on  Mar 13, 2013

A:

Hi Barbara, We can help you and your nervous lab, either in our Shy Dog workshop or private sessions if you prefer. The GroupOn deal applies only to our open-enrollment classes (obedience, agility, etc...), which would not address the specific anxiety issues you describe. The 6-week Shy Dog workshops cost $160, and we offer about every 2-3 months. I'm available at (704) 900-6728 to answer any additional questions! We can also schedule an evaluation ($25) if you would like to bring her in for a consultation. Sincerely, Julene
