So far so good. I hate that we have to use something like this on our dog, but he is responding well to it. He had gotten in a habit of bolting out the door. We live near a very busy highway and have been terrified he would get hit. So far the battery life has been good. We went camping this past weekend and he got it wet and so far it seems to be holding up very well. We like the beep function because it is allowing us to correct behavior without actually having to shock him. So far he has responded to the beep.
