This place is not good. There room was horrible, including the customer service. The room was smelly, the blankets undone as if they didn’t clean the room at all. This place doesn’t deserve to exists. Also the person who was at the front desk was acting aggressive, yelling, etc. What kind of worker yells at their customer? Be grateful we’re even paying you.

Unprofessional I would not recommend coming here if you looking for professionalism which this place lacks big time! I had a room reserved for 2 nights.., Thanksgiving being the first night of 2. I had went there with my pregnant fiancé to check in and nobody was at the front desk, so I had to dial the motel phone and a staff member who claimed to be maintenance or something like that came from one of the rooms to assist me and he said that he couldn’t assist me in checking me in cause I booked the room through a third party and claimed he didn’t know how to pull that up and said the manager wasn’t there and that he should be back in a few hours so I’m like okay it’s Thanksgiving that makes sense so I go with my fiancé to her families which is only a few blocks away then we came back after those few hours have passed and a different guy assured me this time and said the manager still wasn’t there and that he’d be there in like 15 mins. Me and my fiancé wait about 30mins in the parking lot until FINALLY the manager comes in, so then we got checked in. Like I get it that it was the holidays but if you running a business and you are gone you should have someone there an employee who is trained and can assist people in your absence! The very next morning me and my fiancé were in bed still when all of a sudden the door opened and it’s a staff member, he immediately apologized and walked out. I am a light sleeper and got up immediately and went outside and confronted him because they should know what rooms are occupied and which ones aren’t! Then me and my fiancé left to her mother’s just a few blocks away then we came back to get her wallet and as we are pulling up to our room at the motel we see 2 staff members go up to our door and open it so I get out of the car befuddled and talked to the guy and he claimed he got our room mixed up and I’m like well now this is the second time this is happening! He then apologized and went and got one of those do not disturb signs to put on our door which should’ve been in the room to begin with! After that happened my fiancé didn’t feel safe there no longer because the place lacks security and has a lot of dope heads in that area, the staff might’ve been on drugs themselves to be honest. So for the second night we had our dog with us for our security system. I’m just glad we didn’t have any valuable items with us cause they might’ve been tampered with. I would not recommend nobody going here as the place is run down and has very poor management.

Budget friendly, but not good Oh my this place is very date and run down. The staff are trying their best, but it needs a complete overhaul. You can see light around the entire door frame, you'd probably freeze in the winter! Loose railing windows won't stay open... Breakfast consisted of basically toast, cold cereal and bananas. So, if you just need a place to sleep with no higher expectations...this place works but, other than that go elsewhere.

BED BUGS *****BED BUGS***** FEB 21 We rented a room at Rodeway Inn in Austin, MN. We were originally put in a room that had not been cleaned (bed not made & previous renter garbage still present). Vanessa, the woman at the front desk, gave us another room of which ended up having bed bugs. When we went to the office it was locked. We then called Vanessa, as instructed. She preceeded to say, without even a hello much less a how can I help you, "this better be good or I'm going back to sleep." I started to tell her that we had bed bugs in our room & my friend had gotten bit several times. She screamed at me saying, "I'm going back to bed, don't bother me bi**h!" After calling the police, we were told by the officers that she is "very difficult to deal with" & we will have to file a civil suit because she would not be returning our money to get another room down the road. We have filed a complaint as well with the MN Board of Health. We do not recommend staying here not only because of the bed bugs & uncleanliness but also because of the drug activity of which Vanessa had also shared with us how she had kicked in 2 doors the night before using her baseball bat.

Sick place Crazy lady on the front she call to our room I was with my wife and she say to me don’t be scared people came here and kill people but we have 12 cameras and her second question was do u want kill your wife? This is not normal place don’t go over there .
