Genuinely Grateful Enfield review My God is an incredible Provider! I have stayed at the Enfield Red Roof Inn on numerous occasions following a recommendation from a guest who was clear that the staff and property is the preferred accommodation in the area when she comes down from Massachusetts. This review is to pay it forward to anyone looking for a hotel in a strategic location where having a car to get around is good however not an absolute necessity. With so many establishments such as Marshalls, pet stores, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. literally within as little as a one minute walking distance, there is ample ways to save on gas when you book a reservation here. My favorite thing about this location is the quiet. I cannot emphasize that enough. Even though it is in a busy commercial area near a major road it is quiet and clean. The system of operation at this location to keep the lodging experience comfortable and safe for guests and staff appears to be working quite well from my personal experience. They make a conscious effort about choosing to leave a room empty over risking the safety of others just to collect a payment. That is to be commended. The owner/general manager, Rick, shared with me that they are also mindful of the safety of the pets who are welcomed to the property both indoors and outdoors. For example, the grass is not treated with pesticides so it makes me feel really good to know that my dog can nibble on it when he needs to and can roll around to his heart's content – and he definitely does! Rick's shift manager, Ken, keeps things on track so there are no inconsistencies when Rick is off duty. Ms. Vilma and the team in housekeeping are thorough and also very helpful if you need anything for your room between scheduled services. There is so much more to share about the blessings I have experienced at this location which is why I wanted to pay it forward. I encourage you to come in person and meet the guest relations team for yourself. Call directly with any questions regarding your reservation as they can explain certain protocols specific to the property to avoid misunderstandings. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great value and location Excellent location! A few feet away from I91. Only 10 minutes away from Six Flags New England. It has plenty of restaurants 5 minutes or less all around it. Parking and hotel surroundings are kept very clean. Check-in process was really fast and easy. This is extremely convenient after spending a whole day at Six Flags. Deposit was only $50. The room looked clean. The bathroom was small and the tub had a rust stain in the middle of it. For a family of four it could've had more towels. The shower was very good. Fridge and microwave worked fine. The beds were comfortable. The sheets smelled and looked clean. Check-out process was also fast and easy. Recommended if going to Six Flags, and if you are on a budget.

Great experience! When in the transportation industry sometimes finding hotels that can accommodate a tow behind trailer can be a bit of a process but this location is very easy to work with and incredibly helpful staff, thank you for a smooth reservation! I know the next time we are in this area we will surely be reaching out for future business needs!

An Unexpected Blessing HOLD UP! WAIT A MINUTE! READ THIS! I couldn't just throw this review together. I was eager to start writing within the first two days of our stay before my birthday mid-January 2024. A week's stay turned into a 3 week unplanned stay-cation without the sightseeing when an already extremely stressful real estate endeavor unexpectedly fell through shortly before another was finalized literally forcing my son & I to pivot. That being said, this review is not based on a 20 hour or less reservation. If where you stay & who you do business with is as important as your budget but you are in a rush, I decided to provide an overview based on my family's experience to encourage you to consider booking a stay with the Enfield CT Red Roof Inn: •Hospitality is quite rare these days but Rick, owner, provided that for us. When we arrived with our dog, he personally took the initiative to upgrade the reservation we booked via the 800 number at no additional charge to ensure comfort, functionality, and to fulfill my main request for a quiet, non-smoking location. My son did not have a particular preference because he works in Fairfield County & throughout Hartford County so he wouldn't be here daily. •Rick also escorted us to our room & shared that the renovation of all rooms were recently completed about a month before our arrival. The pleasant surprise? The pictures for this location aren't staged! •Rick took the time to show us the area of the property for walking our dog which is more than adequate if venturing off site does not interest you. The pet station is well maintained and provides bags & a bin for pet owners to pick up after their four legged family members. •Our 8 year old dog is a very peaceful soul by design so the quiet grounds was a bonus for him. I did not encounter or witness unruly guests on the premises during our visit. In my opinion even the nearby highway & restaurant traffic is not a nuisance. •Did I mention clean?! No odd odors (I did not smell the scent of cigarettes or anything else in my non-smoking room), no unsanitary linens, no dilapidated aesthetics and no critters. Daily housekeeping schedule is consistent and the crew is both polite & helpful. •Someone walks the property picking up any unsightly trash especially as the snow and ice melts & stray trash is discovered. •The groundkeeper(s) stayed ahead of and on top of changing weather conditions between plowing the parking lot, hand shovels used to clear parking spots and walkways plus salting to avoid slippery navigation on foot. •Upgraded, adjustable heating system especially this time of year in CT kept the room comfortable. During the snow & ice events during our stay and the room remained cozy. •The servicing of the air conditioners are already underway so keep that in mind if you plan to stay in the area when temperatures warm up. •Safety was not a concern even with the exterior corridor layout (which I prefer). There are cameras strategically place around the property. Rick mentioned that the property is routinely inspected and fire safety equipment is located all throughout. Additionally, management does not share guest information. •By the way, the complementary coffee is good - that's saying a lot coming from a tea lover (pssst, tea is available also). I'm glad God blessed us to come see for ourselves that in the midst of our unsettling, unanticipated circumstance there was a place to find rest to reset. My son and I agree we would definitely recommend this Red Roof Inn and stay again. I hope this has been helpful. I will be sharing on some of the other sites for travelers & stay-cationers.

Skip this place I stayed here two years ago, and it was okay. Now it had rude staff. TV didn’t work, and I had people come out twice. Faucet dripped endlessly into the Stained tub. I often stay at Red Roofs, but this was the worst.
