Nice Hotel and Actually in a Safe and Convenient Location Booked this hotel for a trip to Stanford for its relatively low price. The staff and manager are friendly. My initial concerns about safety for the location after reading some reviews turns out to be unfounded. The hotel is located right near the mall, with a group of Chinese shops as well. Driving back to Stanford on the bay bridge cost a modest $6. Overall a clean, safe and convenient location as an alternative to the more expensive hotels on the west side of the bay.

Under renovations, old smelly place, Wont refund you the money… I would rate < -5 > but the lowest is 1, when we arrived they under renovations and we booked through Priceline, apparently they don’t know the situation and they trust they word. Lobby was in tear down conditions, sanding, flooring and more; they only have a small desk to help guests. We,re placed on top floor, apparently management claims that wont affect our stay! However they were apparently upgrading the flooring, removing carpet to tiles? Smells of chemicals and were dusty conditions. Our room assigned was really outdated and in bad condition, smelly and dusty inside. Our picture is worth a thousand words judge yourself... Management refuse to full refund and cancel our stay; after back and forth we got partially refunded.

Worst hotel stay ever This was the worst hotels stay I have ever had.Night one the hotell decided to rent out the hall and leave 0 parking for actual guests. We drove around for 20 minutes looking for parking and couldn't find any. After that we went to the front desk and told them about the situation and they told us to park illegally in their lot and they would call us when the people left .2hrs later no call lot still packed and my 8 year old son still up and exhausted .I went back down and spent another 10 min looking for a spot at now 11pm.Morning 1 Beds were worn out and I woke up with back pain .Breakfast was horrible the eggs were half cooked dehydrated egg substitute want to be jimmy dean microwave patties .The waffles were made of cardboard and the juice was watered down to like 5% juice just straight up disgusting.Night 2 Beds made dirty sheets. We got back to the hotel at about 9pm the beds were made but covered in hair with pubs on the pillowcases and all over the place like someone screwed in our beds while we were gone so I had to go down stars and get fresh sheets and change them myself before putting my son to bed.while changing the sheets I saw just how nasty the mattress was picture attached huge blood stain at the head of the bed.Morning 2 Went to Denny's because the hotell food is nasty.Don't stay here literary anywhere else is better.

It’s out of the way. There are many small issues that add up to a unsatisfactory experience. First, water pressure in the shower is weak. No hot water, only tepid. Second, those little bars of facial soap were all we had to shower with. Not good. Third, this is located in a quiet neighborhood. We arrived so late (11 pm) that all the restaurants in the shopping mall across the street were closed. Even the Jack in the Box workers closed the doors at 11:30 instead of midnight like their sign said. Fourth, there are other things missing from the room that should be there. No toothbrushes and toothpaste. No disposable slippers. Not enough chairs for my family of three. But perhaps Chinese hotels are more generous in my experience. Fifth, there is no restaurant on the premises. Just a breakfast nook and a meeting room. I would not recommend this place.

Marijuana is a problem The hotel seemed pretty impressive for the price range. Staff were helpful and friendly at check-in. Unfortunately when we stepped off the elevator on the floor of our room, the smell of marijuana was pretty overwhelming. We put our bags in our room ready to settle in, but the strong smell of marijuana in our bathroom, probably coming through the vents, drove us to go report the situation to the front desk. Hats off to the staff, she promptly moved us to a different room, which was just fine. I would have liked to give a 5 star review, but the hotel must take care of the marijuana issue, and I WISH the smokers will get it in their heads, their habit stinks bad!
