Currenlty filthy and uninviting. Could be one of the best places if revamped. Update it owners! I really don't like to leave bad reviews, but I'm leaving it hoping it might help the hotel. Great location with many possibilities. The courtyard was not inviting... clean it up a little, fix the fountain, install some lights on strings, put seating out there and you could add some music... I'm thinking even a eatery... think of doing a knock off of Olive Gardens. Put better lighting in your rooms, replace the outdated furniture and carpet. Yes, you need a full remodel, but if done right your location can be one of the best places to visit in the area. How many places are next to the river! Really a great location. We had to ask for a room transfer. We tried to make it though the day, but the smell was too much. I borrowed Lysol from the front desk but it did not fix it. It smelt like animal urine and you could see by the furniture that several animals had marked it. We were not traveling with our dog. We did get a replacement room. It was better, but still needed to be updated. Our first room smelt so bad I tried to open the windows. One opened fine, the other actually was missing the latches and being on the 1st floor is a safety issue since anyone could push open the window from the outside. Note that we lost a hearing aid and I tried to find it in the first room by moving the TV stand. It did not look like it had been moved or cleaned under for months. Dog food was under it as well as a roll of dog bags for poop clean up and other filth. I suggest ripping up the carped in rooms you allow pets and put down something that will not soak up the smell and germs. The water faucet in the bathtub was leaking and by the looks of it had been leaking for some time. The breakfast was nothing nothing to write home about, but it was included and I had waffles. Ok, so I'm one of those who likes to see scrambled eggs, hash brown and bacon for a hot breakfast in a hotel. This was my 3rd hotel that we stayed at within the week. Oh, I got to wander the halls looking for a ice machine that worked. I did find one on the 2nd floor. The halls did not have AC running and I was glad to find the ice. The temp in the rooms was fine though. The front desk folks were nice enough. Not too pleased that I asked for a change of room I could tell, but did not complain. Note that the next day I came back and asked if I could go back into our 1st room to look for the hearing aid one more time and was told no, that it was being used. Kind of surprising since I pointed out the smell, dog food and my concerns to the front desk, yet rather than doing a deep clean and airing it out someone else got to suffer.

Terrible!!! We attempted to sown a night here but the room we were given was HORRIBLE! The door with punch dents in it should have been a red flag, From damaged furniture and fixtures, to hole patched in the walls, to absolute FILTH, it was the worst room I’ve ever had the displeasure of checking into. We did not stay. I have never walked out of a hotel room before but this on le did it. Bugs and torn sheets and curtains. Stay away from this wretched hotel.

Horrible!! Better watch your credit card too! Our room was not serviced once during the week long stay even though I went to the front desk multiple times asking them to service the room and had to ask for toilet paper and towels. They charged a 100 dollar deposit and said that it would be refunded but when i called to inquire about the refund they said that we damaged towels, sheets and a light in the hot tub and would not be refunded. We did not damage anything and trying to contact a manager was not possible due to they are not on site as per front desk. Breakfast was closed early each day, the bath tub had a weird paint all over it that peeled off during the stay and the room smelled like cigarettes from people that smoked outside of the air conditioner. The room was dark and dirty and the service was terrible. There was not a friendly person in this hotel AND THEY DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS CENTER LIKE THEIR PICTURES STATE!
