An Enjoyable 1st Time Visit to Seattle Very clean and quiet hotel. Great location and is in walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and sights. We had a room with a nice view of the city which we enjoyed. We would definitely consider staying there again. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in downtown Seattle.

Great location and fabulous customer service! My wife and I spent one night here before our Alaskan cruise. We flew into Seattle mid-morning and the hotel staff were more than happy to let us drop off our luggage while we explored Seattle. The staff were friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until we checked out the following morning. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is because we feel like for the amount paid for a room you should get breakfast included as you do in most hotels that are much cheaper. Finding a place for breakfast is easy, there are several coffee shops or cafes within very easy walking distance. Also, the shuttle to the cruise port is nice but you do have to pay extra for that while you don't at some other hotels. If we were back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointing for our final destination We chose this to support an independent business. I’m sorry to say we were very disappointed. On the positives: good size room, hot water, friendly staff. What could be improved: decor (very outdated), bar (times and offerings), front desk service, room service (some!), view diabolical - a/c units), noise. TBH, virtually everything

Very nice We stayed here after our cruise for one night. It was nice they stored our bags until our room was ready and we were able to go and explore the city. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. Called us a cab and helped with our bags. They even upgraded us to a suite which was beautiful. We love staying in historic hotels, so this was perfect and the price was reasonable. We didn't try the restaurant or bar. I would stay here again if ever back in Seattle.

Enjoyed our stay. Stayed for 5 nights. Quirky historical hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. The hotel is a small time capsule of times gone by, older style rooms, lifts etc. but our stay was fine. Breakfast was good, door-persons were helpful with getting our bags up and out of the front steps. Rooms were cleaned daily and bottled water provided. Wifi was good. There are ice machine on some of the floors (great) and you can hear your neighbours if they are loud in the adjoining room. Our stay was good. My only gripe is when I asked the reception if they could recommend an airport shuttle…….the answer was no. I was surprised because they have an arrangement for cruise terminal transfer…..we ended up booking out own UBER to the airport.
