720p SSD Dual-Core

Apple MacBook Air 11.6” Laptop (Refurbished)

As its name suggests, the MacBook Air is light as a feather and incredibly thin, making it the ideal travel companion when you need to get work done on-the-go. Despite its conveniently portable build, this laptop still houses plenty of powerful hardware, including a dual-core processor and high-resolution display.

High-Definition Graphics

Stream shows, catch the latest movie trailers, or explore an online video game’s vivid fantasyland in crisp, clear detail. Saturated with about 1 million pixels, the display produces image quality similar to what you’d see on an HDTV with 720p HD resolution. Such sharpness and clarity also make the text on your favorite news and social-media sites clear and easy to read.

Solid-State Drive: Speed and Reliability

The built-in solid-state drive (SSD) performs the same duties of a traditional hard-disk drive, but up to 100 times faster. Unlike hard-disk drives, SSDs don’t rely on moving parts to write, store, and retrieve data; instead, they use flash memory chips that can boot up your computer and launch apps in mere seconds. Without the moving parts, SSDs are also lighter, take up less space within your computer, and are less susceptible to damage and data loss from computer bumps.

Video Chat with Anyone, Anywhere

A built-in webcam can make it feel like people miles away are in the room with you, helping you connect more clearly than with a phone call or email. Collaborate with colleagues in other offices, listen as your niece or nephew rapturously explains their finger painting, or laugh every time your friend’s cat walks across their keyboard.

Do More with High-Speed Thunderbolt

Whether you’re uploading 4K video or backing up your entire photo library, Thunderbolt connectivity helps you move files to and from your computer smoothly. When connected to compatible devices, a Thunderbolt port supports data transfer speeds of up to 10GB/s—double the speed of USB 3.0—in both directions. With that kind of bandwidth, you can move large files and connect an external monitor, all from a single port.

Speedy Data Transfers with USB 3.0

A USB 3.0 SuperSpeed port transfers files to and from your computer at more than 10 times the speed of USB 2.0, which is especially helpful when you have a gigantic project on a flash drive, or you want to backup all of your files to an external hard drive. If your connected device uses USB 2.0, the port can still move bits and bytes with no sweat at 2.0 speeds, thanks to its backwards compatibility.

About Apple

From the start, Steve Jobs was enthralled with not only the novelty of technology but also its design. When speaking about the Apple computer, he said it was “going to be insanely beautiful.” Over the years, Apple’s products have worked to fuse innovative technology with almost artful design. The iMac stunned the world with its colorful plastic shells, which the New York Times said “more closely resemble a pack of Life Savers than a new computer line.” The glossy white iPod—no bigger than a deck of playing cards—could hold an entire library of music. Time Magazine named the iPhone the Invention of the Year for its stunning design and, uniquely, because of the promise it held for even better products in the future. With each new item they launch, Apple works to shape the way future societies communicate, learn, and dance when they’re alone.

Product came with scratches but right after the warranty expired, the screen loosened and I had to hold it open when using the computer or it just falls back. About 6 months later it just proves to be not worth the money, because it goes so slow, glitches a lot, and the broken screen and scratches on top of it make this a bad deal for the price. Groupon couldn't help either, super strict policy.

I understand the product was refurbished but it would also be nice if it was mentioned the condition of the computer. Some people are better than others at keeping there belongings in good condition. Not only did it have scratches but a dent on it as well. Other than that the performance of the computer is great!

MacBook Air came a bit damaged and dirty. Also the hinge for the display is very lose so that just by picking it up, the display is falling back from gravity.

I knew it was refurbished but didn't expect it to arrive with the cover deeply dented and the left edge looking like someone had hacksawed it. It loaded easily, however, it freezes up from time to time and/or processes extremely slow. No additional apps---just while using Safari or Mozilla. Unfortunately, I opened outside the 30 day warranty period as I bought it in October as a Christmas Gift so am unable to return. I erroneously assumed I would have a 6-12 month warranty as I've gotten on IBM refurbished laptops. Last laptop purchase from Groupon for me.
