Haier 32” 720p HD LED TV
Featuring an HD picture with LED lighting, this Haier TV ensures a realistic viewing experience of your favorite shows and movies.
Watch in High Definition
Hovering around 1 million pixels, 720p HD resolution creates a crisp, true-to-life picture. This realistic appearance makes movies, shows, and video games feel more immersive, letting viewers spot tiny details from the raindrops on a windshield to the fuzz on a honeybee.
HDMI and USB: Connect to More Content
An HDMI port connects high-definition components such as a Blu-ray player, cable box, or Roku Streaming Stick directly to your HDTV. USB input pushes your TV’s connectivity even further, letting you do things such as view photos or listen to music saved on thumb drives, digital cameras, and other USB sources.
Enhanced Brightness and Depth
LEDs boost brightness, creating a brilliant picture that’s easy to see whether you’re curled up for a late movie or getting ready for a noon kickoff. Striking black and white levels give images more pop, contribute to a more realistic sense of depth, and amplify shadows and other lighting effects. LEDs also consume little power, making them more energy efficient than other forms of display lighting.

Though today it’s known for consumer electronics, Haier’s origins are in refrigerators, which it began producing in China in the 1920s. It was taken over by the communist state in the ’40s and production and quality went down. In the 1980s, Zhang Ruimin, a visionary managing director, was appointed to lead the factory into the global marketplace. He met a customer who had complained about a faulty fridge and launched a factory-wide test. Zhang discovered a 20% failure rate. After lining up each nonfunctioning fridge, he directed the factory’s employees to smash them with hammers—sending the message that from then on, high quality would be paramount. This attitude has helped Haier persevere into the 21st century, and it’s now well-known for its sleek, innovative televisions, mobile devices, and computers.
