Garmin Dash Cam 20 HD Driving Recorder with GPS
This inconspicuous little camera records high-definition video and audio of the road around you, so that if an accident occurs, you always have a reliable account of what happened, where you were, and when.
High-Quality Video and Audio
Equipped with a wide-angle lens, the camera sees and records the whole road in up to 1080p resolution, the same as many TVs. There’s also an integrated microphone that can be turned on to help you capture audio inside the car.
Automatic Incident Detector
The dash cam continuously records and overwrites outdated data, but it’s outfitted with a G-sensor that can be customized to identify incidents such as a collision or sudden hard stops. When that happens, the camera knows to save the current, last, and next recordings, meaning there’s a complete record of the event.
If an accident does occur, the dash cam is easy to remove from the car, so you can snap photos of the damage right away.
Sync and Store
Review the footage on the dash cam’s 2.3” LCD screen, or remove the included microSD card and insert it into your computer or card reader to watch on a bigger screen.

“Ideas can come from anybody,” notes Min Kao. While sitting around a shabby card table with fellow engineer Gary Burrell, the two formed the navigation company Garmin—a fusion of their first names—in 1989. Its goal was to take highly technical GPS technology and transform it into a product for the everyday consumer. These days, Garmin continues to hone their state-of-the-art navigation technology for cars, planes, boats, and wealthy meteors.
