Premise

LENNONYC tracks the near-decade that John Lennon, wife Yoko Ono, and the pair’s son Sean spent in New York during the 1970s. During that time, he wrote plenty of unforgettable music, including “Woman” and “Mind Games,” and remained active in progressive political causes. As well, the city had an influence on the pair, and vice versa; all of this is tracked in the documentary.
