Lenovo ThinkCentre M79 Desktop PC Tower
At just under 4” wide, this PC tower takes up minimal space in your work area so there’s ample space for peripherals, from speakers to charging hubs to record-setting collections of Troll dolls.
For Work and Play
The Lenovo ThinkCentre keeps your workstation running swiftly so you can multitask. Stream a favorite TV show while paying the bills, or listen to playlists as you edit photos. The dual-core processor cuts down on onscreen lag time so you don’t have to twiddle your thumbs as it loads pages and opens applications.
Speedy Data Transfers with USB 3.0
A USB 3.0 SuperSpeed port transfers files to and from your computer at more than 10 times the speed of USB 2.0, which is especially helpful when you have a gigantic project on a flash drive, or you want to backup all of your files to an external hard drive. If your connected device uses USB 2.0, the port can still move bits and bytes with no sweat at 2.0 speeds, thanks to its backwards compatibility.

The Lenovo brand name may only be about a decade old, but the company can trace itself to one of the most important technological advances in history: the advent of the personal computer. In 1981, IBM released its first PC, one that would soon set the standard for personal computing around the world. But in the early 2000s, IBM was ready to focus on other types of products, and so Lenovo—a Hong Kong company formed in the mid-1980s—stepped in and bought IBM’s personal computer division, including the iconic Thinkpad. Lenovo’s reach hasn’t stopped with PCs: the company is now a top producer of smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and servers.
