SSD Dedicated Graphics Dual-Core

Lenovo X1 Carbon Ultrabook 14” Laptop (Refurbished)

This quick and reliable laptop is a no-frills model that makes it easier to get homework done, surf the web, or catch up on email.

Solid-State Drive: Speed and Reliability

The built-in solid-state drive (SSD) performs the same duties of a traditional hard-disk drive, but up to 100 times faster. Unlike hard-disk drives, SSDs don’t rely on moving parts to write, store, and retrieve data; instead, they use flash memory chips that can boot up your computer and launch apps in mere seconds. Without the moving parts, SSDs are also lighter, take up less space within your computer, and are less susceptible to damage and data loss from computer bumps.

Speedy Data Transfers with USB 3.0

A USB 3.0 SuperSpeed port transfers files to and from your computer at more than 10 times the speed of USB 2.0, which is especially helpful when you have a gigantic project on a flash drive, or you want to backup all of your files to an external hard drive. If your connected device uses USB 2.0, the port can still move bits and bytes with no sweat at 2.0 speeds, thanks to its backward compatibility.

About Lenovo

The Lenovo brand name may only be about a decade old, but the company can trace itself to one of the most important technological advances in history: the advent of the personal computer. In 1981, IBM released its first PC, one that would soon set the standard for personal computing around the world. But in the early 2000s, IBM was ready to focus on other types of products, and so Lenovo—a Hong Kong company formed in the mid-1980s—stepped in and bought IBM’s personal computer division, including the iconic Thinkpad. Lenovo’s reach hasn’t stopped with PCs: the company is now a top producer of smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and servers.

I get this laptop today. The two keys on the keyboards can not function well. It's been returned to the Groupon.

The laptop arrived promptly but the Wi-Fi would not turn on at all, rendering the machine useless. I reset Win10 and installed drivers from Lenovo.com to no avail. So I got a lemon. It's been returned to the refurbishing company and I should have a replacement in the next 7-10 days. Bummer.

I ordered this for one of my doctors in our busy office. It was delivered very fast and is so lightweight. It flys with the ssd drive and she absolutely loves it. I'm so glad that you had this deal. The price is perfect for our growing office.
