Pioneer Elite WiFi Built-In 3D Blu-ray Disc Player
This flexible player lets your eyes soak up stunningly sharp Full HD visuals as you watch tearful dramas and action blockbusters from your Blu-ray collection. If you’ve got movies on your computer or tablet, streaming options let you send them straight to this player for viewing on the big screen.
There are two ways to stream media to this player from other devices: DLNA and Miracast. If you’ve got a Miracast-compatible smartphone, tablet, or laptop, you can mirror its display on your big screen to watch TV shows and movies in HD. If you’re a savvy PC user, set up DLNA (“Digital Living Network Alliance”) over your wireless network, then press play on a local media file to watch it pop up on your TV.
Dolby TrueHD helps you hear the passion in an actor’s voice or feel the pulsing beat in the background of an action movie’s club scene. Using a bitstream with up to 16 discrete audio channels, it enhances dialogue and dramatic sound effects while suppressing static and other background noise. The result is clear digital sound in everything from home theater systems to wireless headphones.

If you’re going to name your company Pioneer, you better back it up. Fortunately for the electronics firm with that name, it has done so for several decades, designing innovations that soon became ubiquitous, such as the laser disc (a precursor to CDs and DVDs), automotive CD player, car GPS, DVD player, and plasma HD display. The company that is now Pioneer dates back to 1938, when Tokyo resident Nozomu Matsumoto opened a speaker shop in his garage. He couldn’t have imagined many of the products Pioneer makes today, with state-of-the-art stereo-speaker equipment for the car and home, as well as DJ equipment that enables users to finally create the long-clamored-for dubstep remix of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
