It doesn't really cook the food as it was described. I will try something else but I am disappointed in the way that it cooks the items.

I just received this unit yesterday and my husband just made French fries using it today. I am eating the fries right now and I can honestly say they are crispy outside and soft inside. This is just so much better than frying them in a pan, minus all the grease and the worry about dumping the left over oil. I just hope it lasts because my last fryer only worked for a couple of months and had to throw it out because I forgot to register it. This is a different brand, so I am hoping that I'll have better luck this time.

This is NOT what I ever expected it to be & it is NOT worth the money I spent. It is absolutely the worst appliance I think I've ever bought. Do NOT waste your money on this

I'm really impressed with the crispness of the fresh cut potato fries. It didn't work well for my first batch of sweet potato fries, but I might need to give it more cooking time.

The bottom pan falls every time I slide the basket out for shaking or removing. I have to be very careful and have lots of room to remove the pan from the unit. There needs to be better instructions and some help with food temp/time - I had to search the internet to find anything.

i have only used this once, but it may turn out to be more trouble than it's worth. I made hash browns and they got really dried out. I think I just left them in too long waiting for them to get brown. Will try again and see what kind of results I get. may just take a little practice to figure out how long to cook things. The manual that came with the product could use a lot of help. More graphics and clearer instructions. Also, typos in the manual....
