I bought this camera for my trip to Scotland and couldn't be happier with it. It was the perfect size to fit in a pocket, and the sliding front to turn the camera on helped catch photos quickly. I am not an experienced photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but this camera helped me capture some pictures that are absolutely incredible. One person on the trip that had one of the huge cameras with exchangeable lenses even took a picture of my camera because she said that she would have rather had it on this trip with her, and would buy one when she got home. There are lots of features, but it isn't confusing to use. We got it in the mail just a few days before we left and by the second day of the tour I really had a good understanding of everything it did and where all the buttons were. The battery is also nothing to turn your nose up at. I would be taking pictures pretty much constantly all day, and I think there was only one day where the battery got low. I did charge it every night because I didn't want to risk it dying while we were out for the day so I can't really say how many days it can go, but it did great. Overall it is an amazing little camera with great features, a quick response time, and produces some incredible shots.

Overall good camera, only design flaw I've seen so far is that the power button is next to the button to take pictures so if you have bigger fingers you might turn it off accidentally while taking photos.

This is my "backup" camera but it takes pictures as well as my DSLR. Rugged, and easy to use and has much improved battery life over the first generation. Touch screen is much improved as well over the first gen...fast, convenient, and fun. Money well spent.

I got this camera to take to Hawaii for my brothers wedding. Thought it would be perfect for the wedding day, beach time and being durable to carry around. It stopped working on my third day there!! So disappointed!! Waste of money.

Great camera. I can take better pictures with it than with the low-end digital SLR I used before.
