Alaska Baseball Development Program has hosted youth baseball camps in Anchorage and its surrounding communities for the past 15 years. Every summer, director Andre Toliver–a former player for the Chicago White Sox—rounds up the best available high school and college coaches to lead ABDP's camps and instructional programs. Thanks to the efforts of Andre and ABDP, many past students have advanced to compete at the high school and college levels.

Since its inception in 2007, Rage City Rollergirls has developed an avid following of fans and fellow roller-derby enthusiasts, training women in the finer points of the hard-hitting formation skating sport. As a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, Rage City Rollergirls ensures each of its members adheres to a high standard of skills as they maneuver and nudge their way around the track, resulting in a fun, high-speed sport that draws droves of spectators.
Under the expansive white arc of Tanglewood Lakes Golf Dome, bright lights illume 40 indoor driving stalls split between two levels, as well as a PGA Tour golf simulator. Within each stall, golfers swing their own clubs or a set of complimentary loaners as they aim for targets posted at both short and long ranges. The green beneath the targets doubles as an athletic field, which patrons can reserve for soccer, softball, or grazing placid herds of cocker spaniels.
