  • Made Baseball, Llc
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We are MADE Baseball. MADE is Motivation, Appreciation, Dedication, EVEryday. This is the brand of baseball and philosophy that we practice as well as preach to our youth champion baseball players and students. Our professional baseball knowledge is backed by years of hard work and experience. What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans? Come to your first baseball training session with the following items: glove, baseball cleats, pants(mesh shorts are ok), hat, a will to work hard and get better, and a champion attitude. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Experiencing adversity during a long and well-traveled professional baseball career brought me to the point that I knew I had something very valuable to provide youth baseball players. The game of baseball has the power to teach young men what it takes to respond to failure and to be better people. What do you love most about your job? I love watching my students develop on and off the field. Seeing them begin to grasp the baseball and life lessons I teach them through hard work and dedication, and begin to see them reap the benefits and successes of such lessons, is very rewarding to say the least.

  • Funtasticks Tucson
Funtasticks Family Fun Park entices visitors of all ages with abundant play areas along with racing, riding, and sporty attractions. Guests can test their aim by precisely putting through one of two 18-hole miniature golf courses, take aim in Tucson's largest laser tag arena, or hitting softball or baseball homers in a batting cage that launches orbs between 40 and 70 mph from an accusatory foam pointer finger. Electric bumper boats come equipped with water blasters for squirt-attacks against other seafarers, and go-karts navigate a racetrack's lengthy stretches and curves. The video arcade's plentitude of games rewards players who can later collect prizes, and kiddie land sequesters a bouncy castle, rookie go-kart track, and mini roller coaster geared to younger attendees. Funtasticks accommodates organized group outings and birthday parties with an extensive selection of packages.

  • Fitness From the Ground Up
When it comes to using correct form during a workout, athletes might check themselves in a mirror or get subjective advice from a trainer. Absolute Kinetix Sports Science & Biomechanics Center takes these techniques a step further. Using motion-capture technology similar to that used to develop video games, experts analyze a 3D model of each client to suss out muscle imbalances, potential injury zones, and inefficient form. With this super-specific information, they're able to advise clients on the best ways to achieve their goals, whether that's adjusting the hips before a golf swing, performing special exercises to strengthen weak muscles, or practicing gymnastics until they can recreate scenes from The Matrix. The center showcases this expertise in Fitness From the Ground Up, an easy-to-follow talk show hosted by sports kinesiologist Zig Ziegler. During each show, Ziegler works with guests to demonstrate just how unique the human body is, letting viewers watch both correct and incorrect movements as the show’s guests perform activities, such as running or swinging a golf club, with the motion-capture equipment.
