  • St Andrews Links
Dunedin Stirling Links' 18 par 3 holes sprawl across 27 acres of Scottish links-style fairways. Whereas a typical links course has few trees, this one is lined with pines and palms, blocking the wind from knocking shots off course and blowing up kilts. The course is short overall—its longest hole is just 163 yards—welcoming novice golfers and giving experienced players a chance to hone their short games. What the course lacks in length, it makes up for in challenging shots—the 10th, 17th, and 18th tee shots must each clear water hazards. Golfers can work toward improving their personal best at the practice facility, complete with a lighted driving range for evening repetitions and a 4,000-square-foot putting green. Course at a Glance: * 18-hole, par 54 course * Total length of 2,264 yards from the back tees * Two sets of tees per hole * Scorecard

  • Kayak Valet
The crew at Kayak Valet has one mission: to get more people out and enjoying the local waterways and scenery via kayaks or paddleboards. Since storing, hauling, unloading, reloading, and potty training their own kayaks can deter people from boating, the team sets up shop to cancel out such deterrents. They take care of nearly every task, bringing all equipment necessary for a leisurely paddle on puddles of all sizes right to the launch site. The crew will pick up and deliver equipment to popular launch sites within Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Manatee Counties. To keep the aquatic adventure accessible, the shop rents only kayaks and standup paddleboards that can be piloted by anyone, experienced or not. Additionally, they give visitors tips on paddling and safety techniques and sell new kayaks, paddleboards, and accessories.

  • Dunedin WaterSports
Dunedin Watersports sets visitors sailing past fluffy clouds and gentle wakes on the Gulf of Mexico on jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards, and boats. With rental sessions lasting from 30 minutes to a full day, staff members equip renters with the means to paddle out to the likes of Caladesi Island State Park and its mangroves or zip along the tranquil coastline. Boat rentals speed groups to fishing locations, and when the water is right, visitors may try paddleboarding with Poseidon's trident. The team can also provide fishing gear for angling trips or sets of snorkeling gear to get visitors close enough to swim alongside fish. The newest addition to the fleet is the jet-pack-like flyboard, which uses hydraulic water pressure to create forceful streams that help to propel participants from the water?s surface and through the air.

  • SimCenter Tampa Bay
Small lights blink inside the cockpit as directions from air-traffic controllers roll in over the speakers. A pilot begins taxiing, speeding up until the plane rises off the runway and begins soaring over the water below. At least that's what it looks like to the participant and pilot who perch inside SimCenter Tampa Bay's celebrated Boeing 737 simulator, a realistic apparatus that has garnered mentions on the website of Plane & Pilot. The 737 will soon be joined in the Clearwater showroom by C-172 and Airbus 340 simulators, which will join together into one giant jet with a lion's face to fight the enemies of Earth.
