Currently, they offer four beers, which range from the pale, crisp Bonefish blonde to the heartier, sweeter Yakima River red ale.

  • Winery Kitchen Cooking School
Winery Kitchen Cooking School's motto is "we make food that likes wine." The experienced chef Dona?who holds a Master Cheese Maker Certification from California Polytechnic State University, is a graduate of Seattle Tilth Master Food Preserver Program, and has baking credentials from the San Francisco Baking Institute?has developed a talent for transforming simple, fresh ingredients into memorable dishes. Her wealth of experience comes from having managed restaurants, owned a bake shop, taught culinary arts, and honed her skills during her world travels which found her hand-making pasta in Italy, rolling sushi in Japan, and pressing tortillas in Mexico. She passes on her culinary knowledge during cooking classes, wine-and-food pairing lessons, and cheese-making experiences at Winery Kitchen Cooking School. In the cozy kitchen, which is located on a small, picturesque farm adjacent to the Woodinville wine-tasting rooms, chef Dona teaches students how to create meals full of ingredients straight from the farm's gardens. Wine educator Katrina then introduces students to local vintages that pair perfectly with chef Dona?s recipes.

  • Vortex Cellars
After almost a decade of making homebrew wines, Ed and Nichole had an idea of the types of wines they liked. What they didn't know was that their first vintages from their winery, Vortex Cellars, would also charm the palates of so many others, with three of their wines winning gold and silver medals at the 2012 Seattle Wine Awards. Their secret is the variety of Washington grapes they use. To achieve the sweet, honeysuckle notes of their dessert wine, Late Harvest Viognier, they use viognier grapes plucked from the vine on the last day of November, then aged in French oak barrels. For their other wines, they uses grapes traditionally grown in the Mediterranean to create classic French and Spanish style wines, such as the jammy CM2 with flavors of raspberries and currants. On the weekends, the couple opens up the winery to guests hoping to sample their vintages or see if the crazy rumors about wine coming from storks is true. The pair also helps host events such as wine walks, in which guests can explore the town while sipping wine and mingling with their neighbors.

  • Des Voigne Cellars
Before Darren and Melissa Des Voigne started Des Voigne Cellars, they honeymooned in Italy, staying for a week at a winery in Castellina in Chianti. Their stay coincided with the release of the historic 1997 Chiantis, and drinking the excellent vintage hooked the couple on the wine industry. When they returned to the States, Darren decided to turn his wine-making skills?which up until then had been limited to making wine in his garage?into a full-blown career. He succeeded. Today, Des Voignes Cellars is a full decade old, and Darren is the house wine-maker. He crafts traditional and creative varietals with equal aplomb, and as an extra flourish, shows his love of vintage jazz records through his wine labels. The labels of his "Untitled" wines boast lines of sheet music, whereas his 2009 Montreux's label depicts a thoughtful drummer, probably contemplating what terrible drumsticks wine bottles would make.

  • Genoa Cellars
Long before they were making wine, Derek Berger and Scott Heinrich brewed beer together in the 90s. That, they might tell you, was the start of it all?beer-making transitioned to wine-making, relationships with some of Washington's top vineyards, and a newfound appreciation for the centuries-old art. Their tastes evolved into an appreciation for wine, and eventually they were crafting Sangiovese-based red blends, showcasing their Washington interpretation of Italy's Super-Tuscan-style blends. Today, their operation has grown into Genoa Cellars, where they produce Tuscan?style wines from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Participants can sample their wines, experiment with chocolate and wine pairing, and take home a bottle to have on hand for special dinners or occasions.
