When two teachers with strong cultural ties are left to their own devices on a beautiful island, Ka Pili Tours happens. Kale and Kawehi Jaeger were special-needs teachers whose passion for sharing Hawaiian culture couldn't be confined to classrooms. Ka Pili Tours is their way of showing off as much of Hawaii's character as possible. They offer one tour a day—for a maximum of 10 people—that spotlights Oahu's nature, culture, history, and food. In between stops at picturesque parks, lookouts, and temples, guests will feats on free coconut, fresh juices, shaved ice, and pineapples to fuel their trek to spots like Hanauma Bay and Makapu'u lookout.
