Whimsical play and jaw-dropping feats of skill are both regular occurrences at The Circus Conservatory. Intended for adults of all fitness and experience levels, the conservatory strives to create a sense of community, uniting people united by their curiosity for circus arts. Classes meet throughout the week and introduce students to the fundamentals of everything from acrobatics to slacklining and aerial silks. During these acro lessons, certified, friendly instructors teach individuals how to work together as a team to create graceful, gravity-defying tableaus via standing atop shoulders, performing supported handstands, or levitating above the ground. The schedule also includes yoga-based sessions that use acrobatic techniques in conjunction with traditional asanas.
