SilverBack Fitness LLC proprietors and head instructors Julius and Tiffany Washington draw from years of professional training experience and their own fitness achievements to help their clients build healthy, energetic bodies. During boot-camp classes, trainers employ positive encouragement and teamwork to motivate students through high-intensity strength and cardio exercises. Personal training lend one-on-one support and guidance to workout regimens, while nutritional guidance helps clients fuel their body efficiently and healthily.
The instructors at Austin F.I.T. Boot Camps' three indoor locations lead intense, results-oriented boot-camp classes. During each session, the instructors combine resistance training, cardio, and plyometric exercises for full-body muscle building.

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Each individual that comes to work out with us learns why and how we are building muscle and losing weight. This is part of our creating overall fitness motto; you will also learn how to implement your lifestyle change according to the plan that is given to you.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
I get to know the people who come work out; this is important to me. In order to push each individual, you have to learn what drives them, whether you like to be yelled at or just like the trainer to work out with you.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My inspiration began at an early age. When I was 14, I broke my femur in my left leg, and I had to go through months of physical therapy to learn how to walk, run, and jump again. Meeting people through therapy really inspired me to want to help people on an everyday basis—people who need a push daily!
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the smiling faces when we are getting closer to a goal or have reached a goal. I love seeing the determination to achieve something greater, to better ourselves!
After experiencing the frustration that comes when workout results plateau and the cost of personal trainers seems prohibitive, Melody Chandler decided to become a personal trainer herself. Her goal: to help those just like her find a results-driven, empowering, and affordable solution. She shed the extra pounds that came along with hypothyroidism and four pregnancies, became a nationally-certified AFAA personal trainer, and founded Texas Fit Chicks to share her weight-loss strategies and support with other women.
Her all-female staff of certified personal trainers helps exercisers of all fitness levels shape their bodies during group fitness classes. In an effort to challenge muscle memory, the team shakes up workout regimens by using different techniques and equipment—including kettlebells, resistance bands, and lead sweatpants—each day. Melody’s team also helps exercisers retain their results by supplying nutrition support with meal plans and recipes that use healthy ingredients.
The instructors at Delta 3 Fitness help clients achieve sleek, toned physiques and rippling muscles during classes held in an encouraging, friendly environment. Their offerings include Zumba sessions—which blend Latin-inspired music and dance moves—and R.I.P.P.E.D. classes, which combine resistance training, plyometrics, and other techniques to transform flab into lean muscle. The studio's instructors also promote internal wellness with nutritional supplements from brands such as Bios Life Slim and Lean Complete.
