The views at Grandview Golf Club are truly grand: carved from 160 acres of mature woodland hilltop, the course treats golfers to postcard-worthy views of Monongahela Valley. Players can even spot the Edgar Thompson Plant, one of the last of Western Pennsylvania's venerable steel mills.
Back atop Matta's Hill, Grandview's 18 holes weave gracefully across 6,111 yards of shifting topography. In fact, the varying terrain here presents a different challenge at every hole, urging players to choose their clubs carefully. Golfers can also hone their skills at an onsite driving range and putting green, or they can kick back in the luxurious clubhouse, which features dining facilities and a bar and lounge.
Draped over the verdant Washington County countryside, Fort Cherry Golf Club's 18-hole course spans 6,205 yards of rolling, player-friendly terrain. The course's relatively open layout invites players to blast tee shots with their drivers or T-shirt cannons at nearly every non-par 3, as sparse tree lines offer little impediment to shots that find the rough, and the course's multiple sand bunkers loom by the greens—not the fairways. An adjacent driving range loosens up swings to perfection, and a practice green sharpens up putting strokes and helps players get a feel for how to read the course's subtle slopes and metaphorical flagsticks. With its own motel and a gourmet bar and restaurant, the club hosts all-day and overnight golf-outing packages for a restful pin-hunting vacation.

Victory Hills is a year-round golf course with quite the family history. Eddie Rack first became involved with golf in 1918, when he began caddying at 6 years old. Through that job, he became acquainted with real-estate developer Bill Sullivan, who was later Eddie's high-school golf coach and the catalyst for his amateur career. When Sullivan bought a property to turn into a golf course, he and Eddie laid out its 18 holes together. The Rack family eventually came to own the course, then known as 7 Springs Golf Course, in 1955.
The Rack family continues to own and operate the public course to this day; members of the family have played on the PGA circuit and studied turf management in college. Their years of experience have resulted in a welcoming course known for well-groomed fairways and smooth greens.
