I attended the 2024 Fourth of July city cruise in San Francisco and had an amazing experience overall. However in VIP section my experience was marred by the behavior of bartender Diana. Her aggressive approach towards tipping, including frequent reminders and double-checking before serving, was unprofessional and detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience. The tickets for the event were not cheap, so being constantly pressured about tipping was unwelcome. While I usually have no issue with tipping, it was disappointing to be badgered about it, especially if I only had large bills. That part wasn’t cool at all, but the rest of the experience was a 10 out of 10 and I would highly recommend it, just bring smaller bills for tipping.
