What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
The SUPERCATS make my piano lessons stand out from others! This new piano curriculum has 30 books and covers 5 years of one-to-one piano lessons! Here are topics of what you will learn: Why is the Dog so sad? :( How the Elephant rescuing the Girl and Boy. There are two Supercats - one can fly and another one can swim! How the Friendly Fish hides from the Angry Alligator, ETC...
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I always learn from other adults that they regretted quitting piano as a child when things get harder! This is my inspiration to teach piano differently than the rest of the teachers! My innovative curriculum do not use the acronym “Every Good Boy Does Fine” because it is out of date and boring!! Instead it is so fun, easy and moderately pace, even a 3.5 years old can follow it!
What do you love most about your job?
I am pretty happy to see that over the years my students grew to love learning piano and being independent learners. However, my most rewarding experience is actually to see students able to handle Certificate of Merits Piano Test and enjoying playing piano at the same time. It is sad that actually a lot of kids finished all the piano tests up to Level 10 and don’t “touch” piano after that. I am trying to prevent that happening by giving out well-balanced repertoire such as Boogie, Jazz, Pop pieces as well.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Last year I was in my maternity leave for two months and received so many blessing from my students and parents! Countless gifts and gift cards, some even offer to pay me in full during my leave! This is the best community that I am able to teach in. I couldn’t ask more!
