Danube River Cruise and Optional Coach or Bicycle Tours Through Historic Central Europe
The Danube is Europe’s second-longest river, passing through nine countries on its nearly 1,770-mile-long route from Germany’s Black Forest to the Black Sea in Romania. You’ll pass through Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia on your nine-day, eight-night tour from Beyond Boundaries Travel, which begins in the German town of Passau. The tour includes round-trip airfare from New York (JFK); ground transfer from Munich to Passau; river-cruise accommodations; and all daily meals—a breakfast buffet, three-course lunch, four-course dinner, afternoon coffee, tea, and cake, and a midnight snack.
As you travel down the river, there are several opportunities to disembark and cycle through the river towns, and the cost of bicycle rentals is included with this Groupon. The lengths of the biking day trips range from 9 up to 35 miles, and some routes can be shortened for leisure cyclists.
