New York: Spa Castle NYC

It was my 1st time at Spa Castle. This place is amazing!!! The variety of spa pools that they have makes Spa Castle the "place to be". They have a massage therapist a juice/smoothie bar, restaurant, bar & also a secluded nude pool. The 6 different saunas are state of the art! I loved everything about it!!!! – Lisa M.

Since 1892, guests have been frequenting this traditional, no-frills bathhouse, where they indulge in sauna, steam, and massage treatments. Here's what you should know about the famed institution:
- Plenty of famous people have visited: including Frank Sinatra and John Belushi
- You can get a traditional platza treatment: Bodies are rapped with an oak-leaf broom drenched in olive-oil soap
- The vibe is both trendy and old-fashioned: hipsters and retirees co-mingle here
- There is a quirky schedule: It's owned by two people, David and Boris, who split the bathhouse down the middle, running it on alternate weeks. Our deals are only valid on David weeks.

I love it here. My favorite spa in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area, mostly because of the decor, steam room/sauna and the vast pool area. I prefer laying on the steps of the pool and catching some sun before I get my 2nd service. This spa hasn't disappointed me yet and I'd be shocked if it ever did. Worth every penny! – Brie B.

The oxygen facial was amazing! Bliss has sauna facilities and I recommend coming earlier to use them before your facial. I loved the tea and snacks provided afterwards, plan yourself extra time after your facial to enjoy them and the view! – Agnes P.

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Been to many clinics and this was by far my best experience. Leslie did our work at the Minnetonka office. All product opened right in front of you. She even spent an extra half-hour (after hours) with us giving us information and suggestions. Office is beautiful, all staff was AMAZING. Just outside of Milwaukee lies a Thai oasis of sorts: Firewalker Arts. Here, Ananda Walker physically stretches out clients lying on a Thai massage mat during her Thai massages. Ananda, who is known to twirl and dance with fire in her free time as a fire entertainer, performs a few different variations of her classic massage:
- Thai foot massage: This combines Thai-specific acupressure, oil, and Thai balm. It relaxes the whole body, especially the feet.
- Thai abdominal massage: Ananda focuses on the abdominal muscles, massaging the area with oil to help aid digestion and cut down on gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Thai harmonic massage: If you need a mood boost, this massage is for you. It relies on a harmonic technique to "shake" or "sing" the body, which tends to make clients feel giddy.

We were in SF for vacation and my wife and I were invited by some friends. The experience was by far our favorite part of the trip. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The place was clean and had a lot of great things to do. Relaxing on the roof top looking at the city lights after my very first venik was surreal.
