There was a child under the age requirement; she should have been turned away. Rules are rules and had she been hurt, there could have been liability to the company.

The building is a little hard to find, it is on the backside of a larger complex, watch for a small sign on the front of the building, it's on the left side if going south down tower Rd

An interesting experience with a great group of workers who clearly love their craft! If you cannot make a class before the holidays, there are pieces ready to purchase for gifts. I would recommend stopping in to purchase those as well. A very fun time for friends, families and co-workers.

From Our Editors

Though glass art has been Peter Patterson?s career for more than 35 years, glimpses of his other passions come through in his pieces, from his knowledge of plants to his scuba explorations of exotic seascapes. Indeed, he shapes searing-hot glass with the same fluidity as water, drawing on lessons from master teachers and his own background as an illustrator. The forms often flow around pre-fused decorations and even phosphorous elements that glow in the dark. At the end of class, students observe as Patterson creates his complex sea-form vase. Afterward, students may purchase this demo piece along with memorial keepsakes and incandescent light bulbs at a discount in the gallery.
