Luckily, Travelocity makes it easy to cancel flights, hotels, and car rentals with an easy-to-follow claims process. How to Cancel Your Flight

Before you cancel, make sure to review the specific airline’s rules and restrictions. You can find this information in your itinerary.

For full-service airline bookings:

  • Booked In the last 24 hours: Some airlines offer free cancellations if you cancel within 24 hours. 
  • Booked More than 24 hours ago: You may be charged a cancellation fee at this point. 
  • Non-refundable Bookings: If the airline’s tickets are non-refundable, you still might get an airline credit to use later. Check out how to book a flight with an airline credit.

Low-cost airlines

Airlines like Frontier and Spirit tend to prefer to handle their own changes and cancellations. But a Travelocity representative can help you find direct phone numbers here

Roundtrip flights with two separate one-way fares

Since each ticket is separate, you’ll need to cancel each of your one-way flights individually to cancel the entire trip. 

To cancel your flight on Travelocity:

  1. Log in and go to My Trips.
  2. Click “Cancel Flight” and follow the instructions on the screen.

How to Cancel Your Hotel

Most hotel cancellation policies fall into one of these two categories: 

  • Refundable booking: You'll get all your money back as long as you cancel within an appropriate amount of time. You can find out how long you have to cancel in your itinerary.
  • Non-refundable booking: You won't get any money back if you cancel.

To cancel your hotel on Travelocity:

  1. Go to My Trips.
  2. Click “Manage Booking” and then choose “Cancel Booking.”

If you don’t see an option to cancel, then your booking may be non-refundable. Contact customer service for assistance. 

How to Cancel Your Rental Car

Some car rentals can be canceled online for a refund. However, most prepaid car rental bookings are non-refundable.

To cancel your car rental on Travelocity:

  1. Go to My Trips.
  2. Choose “Upcoming” and select the rental you’d like to cancel.
  3. Click “Manage Booking” and then “Cancel Reservation.”
  4. Finally, confirm cancelation by choosing “Cancel This Reservation.”

If you did not log in or create an account when you booked, you can still find your booking by entering the email address you received your reservation information from.
