A trip to the grocery store takes time and money (especially if you’re shopping while hungry), which is one of the many reasons online grocery shopping is gaining in popularity these days. Walmart Grocery is no exception; the shelves are stocked with 160,000+ grocery items including fresh produce and dairy, meat and seafood, household essentials, and (depending on your state’s laws) even alcohol. Online ordering is easy via walmart.com or the Walmart app, and you have two ways of getting your goods—curbside pickup or delivered to your door.
Groupon Coupons created this handy guide to everything you need to know about Walmart Grocery pickup and delivery services, as well as how to save on your next order with our collection of Walmart coupons.
It’s easy! Log in to your Walmart account, or sign up for one here, to get started on your Walmart Grocery online order. You can also order groceries through the Walmart app.
You’ll have the option of allowing for substitutions on your order. If a substituted item is cheaper than your original item, you’ll be charged the lower price. If a substituted item is more expensive than your original item, you’ll still be charged the cheaper price. (It’s kind of a secret savings tip.)
Yes, you can pay online with your EBT card in 44 states for Walmart pickup and/or delivery service. Learn more about it here. Hawaii is the only state where this is not available.
No, Walmart store employees are unable to accept tips for pickup services. You can, however, complete a customer survey and give them a positive review.
Tips, which are based on your order total, are automatically included for delivery drivers. You can edit or omit the tip amount on the Review Order page during checkout or through your Account Page after the order goes through.
