What You'll Get
Times are tough, but Groupon still wants you to eat well. Put some meat on your ghastly, thin, recession-induced, skeletal frame. With today's Groupon for Figaro's Delicatessen you pay just $5 for a $10 voucher. Figaro's is the perfect spot for a business lunch or a casual family dinner. And who can argue with 50% off of the tastiest, fillingest, Italianest food this side of the Mason-Dixon line. Disclaimer: there is one sub place directly on the Mason-Dixon line that is slightly more filling, but not more tasty than Figaro's.
Who doesn't like Figaro's delicious subs and deli sandwiches? It turns out there is only one person who doesn't: the peace-hating North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Il the 3rd. Everybody else can't get enough of their affordable Italian concoctions like The Pavarotti (imported prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil & extra virgin olive oil), the Al Capone (steak 'n cheese with pepperoni, peppers, onion, & sliced hot peppers) and Nonna's Meatball (traditional meatball with provolone cheese & marinara sauce). Or if you think you know yourself and your needs even better than the amazing Figaro sub chef (like if you're a Buddhist monk who has contemplated the self for centuries in a cave), you can create your own sandwich or sub with whatever meats, cheeses, bread, and veggies you like. Otherwise, please accept that the Figaro sub chef knows you best. Her name, by the way, is Rosie, and everybody loves her. She's super fun and welcoming, and her equally fun-spirited crew make Figaro's a local favorite hang-out spot. If you are an orphan, you should come hang out at Figaro's because Rosie will feel like the mother you never had. Or that you once had but now she's gone. Rosie can fill the void in your soul and your stomach. That's 2 voids being filled with today's Groupon for the price of 1.
The location is just right, and exactly where it is: 105 Beach St is your host to subby goodness.
Yelpers have given Figaro a sidewalk square on the sidewalk of 3.5 stars, including these beautiful alto-soprano chirpings (sing aloud in your very own alto-soprano voice and you'll know they're authentic, or check out Figaro's Yelp Page).
- "Try the Pavarotti. Ask for it on multi-grain, best sandwich you'll ever have. Can't say enough good things about this deli." - Matt L.
- "I love this place! Rosie and her crew make you feel like you're part of the family--right from the very first visit. But it's not just the friendly vibe that has kept me coming back each day for more than two years; their wraps are fantastic! My favorite is the Stachino. But really anything that's press grilled will not disappoint!" - Michelle M.
- "This place is awesome! Rosie (the owner) is always so welcoming and nice! They have an amazing variety of subs, wraps, and entrees so you can always find something you like...in the event you are super picky...they will make you whatever you want (provided they have the ingredients). Not to be forgotten is their breakfast menu. The Ultimate is incredible! I am a vegetarian so I get it without meat but it's typically bacon or sausage, egg, cheese, and a hashbrown on a bagel. It's sooooo good, soooo affordable (approx $4) and soooo filling that I can't even eat lunch after this! Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes a fun atmosphere where the staff remembers you and your favorite sub!" - Angela S.
