Abilene Mixed Martial Arts develops warriors from the ground up, training kids and adults to perform martial-arts maneuvers and increasing their skills over time. Classes start for students as young as age 3, when students are at their most teachable and adorable. While this might seem young, Sempi Terry Fields began martial arts at age 10, was teaching classes herself at 16, and had a black belt by 21. In addition to teaching, she also holds three world titles for breaking through the United States Breaking Association. She and her fellow instructors encourage their students to ask questions in order to truly understand the moves and motives behind techniques. As students learn increasingly difficult series of punches and kicks, they also develop self-confidence and discipline that help them succeed in and out of the dojo.
