About AcroTex Gymnastics

For more than 43 years, the instructors of AcroTex Gymnastics have been training the next generation of gymnasts through classes, camps, and competitive exhibition teams. They continue that tradition today at their Georgetown location, and now also in Bee Cave, where youngsters twist and tumble in a setting equipped with the pro-grade apparatuses required to master the sport's intricate techniques. Read on to learn more:

  • Gymnastics: With options for boys and girls ages 2–18, AcroTex's gymnastics classes help students of every ability level develop their skills in a safe, collaborative environment. Preschool classes focus on fundamentals that boost strength and motor skills, while classes for school-age kids introduce students to work on competition equipment including the bars, balance beam, rings, and trampoline. Skilled students can also put their training to use on AcroTex's exhibition team, which competes in meets across Texas.
  • Dance and Cheer: AcroTex classes in other disciplines include a full cheer and dance curriculum. In the former, students learn stunting and jump techniques as well as the showmanship required to sell them, while in the latter, instructors teach the steps of everything from ballet and tap to free-flowing jazz dance. Dance and cheer classes are only available at the Georgetown locations.
  • Art Classes: Kids aren't the only ones welcome at AcroTex. During adult art classes, instructor Kim Hoerster of Artsea walks beginning painters through the fundamentals of watercolor work. Art classes are only available at the Georgetown location. Art Classes are offered for both adult and children.
